When you think of Luxeology Home you may instantly think of bold eclectic style with little restraint, and this is something we pride ourselves on. However, we do have a softer side and we're going to share a little more of that with you.
Everything we sell at Luxeology Home has a story. We write the opening in the hopes that each item can be a part of someone's beautiful chapters. It's so much more than decor to us.
We recently shared on our social media some paired back styling of our key pieces for Spring, these little teasers have been in preparation for us to share our brand new collection; The Natural Style Edit.
Layering & Texture
This natural aesthetic creates a comfortable environment full of layering and texture. Natural materials and fibres are the backbone of this design style which can easily be built upon to add more dimension to any interior design. This neutral colour palette is amplified by the use of different organic materials, patterns and incorporating elements of black into the scheme.
Our Round Large Jute Braided Rug is the perfect base layer in a room. We know that rugs are fantastic for sectioning spaces and creating focal areas in a room.
Expertly placed lighting adds another dimension to a space, finding the right lighting to compliment your interior scheme is important. Two earthy additions to our new collection are the Terracotta Bobbled Table Lamp with Raffia Shade and the Beige Iron Table Lamp with Raffia Shade, these delicate lamps add an organic look and feel to a room.
I'm having a secret love affair with the stunning Black Wood & Woven Cane Dining Chair. This chair occupies my thoughts daily with its simplistic beauty. Effortlessly stylish and bang on-trend with fabulous cane webbing, there is simply no nicer place to sit. Cane will never go out of style.
One thing that will become apparent when you look closer at a naturalistic design is that each piece has carefully crafted characteristics. The Balvia Black Cabinet with Cane Webbing is proof of that fact. This suave cabinet woven from natural fibres compliments a multitude of interior styles and is the emphasis point around which you build the rest of your design.
Inject some Colour
Learning how to use colour effectively in a natural interior design is a challenge. Naturalistic design is all about finding balance. The natural fibres and organic accents can look dull if not complimented appropriately. The mellow hues of our Pretty Pink Striped Tasselled Cushion, Orange Sorbet Tasselled Cushion and Coral Striped Woven Throw with Fringe create a light and airy feel in a space. The addition of cushions and throws to a design helps to soften and subtly brighten a room.
Delicate Dried Flowers
Dried flowers have stayed in fashion since becoming wildly popular in 2020. With an abundance of texture and dimension, this sustainable decor compliments a natural aesthetic beautifully. Dried flowers can be styled incredibly simplistic with just a few dried stems in a delicate vase or by mixing various dried bouquets to create on large feature piece.
Room Makeover - Before & After
Pictured above is our founder Gemma's dining room revamp, as you can see she's fully embraced the natural aesthetic whilst still adding her own stamp on the design. If you haven't already, take a read of blog 'Before & After: Gemma's Dining Room Makeover' which details her journey to create this fabulous room.
Natural decor can still be dramatic, detailed and daring. The balance of colour, texture, furniture and decor create harmony in your home. This highly sophisticated style is guaranteed to look on-trend for years to come.
